Vad Leo Segal, BA, CELTA, CPE
School owner and Director Of Studies
Vad has been in the tutoring and teaching business for over 30 years, both in Canada and in Europe. He has a university degree in English and Teaching, University of Cambridge (UK) Certificate in English, as well as an International House Teaching Certificate.
Vad took part in various conferences and seminars over the years, honing his teaching techniques and discussing new trends and methodologies in the industry:

He is based in Canada, which he made his home in 1997.
He is fluent in 5 languages. In 2019 he was one of the pioneers of the development of the online language teaching programs .
He specializes in fluency, oral comprehension and accent reduction.

Benjamin MacNeil, a seasoned Canadian ESL teacher, has honed his skills over the past eight years tutoring students both in Canada and abroad. His international experience, including teaching English in Spain and acquiring teaching certificates from the Universidad de Comillas, underscores his adaptability and cultural sensitivity.
Benjamin furthered his linguistic abilities during his time in Spain by studying Spanish. This has allowed him to better understand the teacher-student dynamic and the ESL learning process.
Always looking to maintain and improve his skill set, Benjamin regularly partakes in teacher training to stay up-to-date with the latest methodology to better help his students.
He specializes in reading comprehension and conversational fluency.

Shannon Du Plooy, BA, TEFL,

ESL Instructor, Senior Teacher
Shannon is a South African ESL teacher based in Ecuador. She teaches students aged 7 and up, from beginner to advanced. She has had a wide variety of students since she started teaching in 2019 and has experience creating academic materials.
She has a degree in modern European languages from the University of Pretoria in South Africa and a level 5 TEFL certificate. She is always looking for ways to improve her methodology and pedagogy and regularly participates in teacher training to stay up-to-date.
As someone who has studied other languages herself, Shannon can relate to her students on a deeper level. She specializes in academic writing and using critical thinking to improve conversational skills.
Shannon is a Certified CELPIP instructor.
Robert Wedderburn, BA in Screenwriting and Directing Motion Pcture, TEFL
ESL Instructor
Robert Wedderburn is a passionate and dedicated English teacher with extensive experience in helping students improve their language skills.
With a strong focus on interactive learning, Robert specializes in teaching English as a second language, fostering both fluency and confidence in his students.
His approach combines personalized instruction with engaging content, ensuring that learners of all ages and levels achieve their language goals.
In addition to his expertise in education, Robert brings a love for communication and storytelling from his background in documentary filmmaking, making each lesson both informative and inspiring.
